Description

ON-CM is a fixed barcode reading system for inspection, packing and shipment conveyor lines. It reads moving 1D and 2D barcodes so product identity, batch information and shipment labels can be checked without stopping each item for handheld scanning.

The reading speed can be adjusted from 20 to 50 m/min, and the system supports data statistics, network communication and ERP data connection. Products with accepted barcode information can continue along the conveyor, while products that do not meet the barcode requirement can be stopped for removal or directed to a sorting path depending on the line configuration.

In garment inspection, ON-CM can be positioned after needle detection to associate the inspected product with the correct barcode information. In packing and logistics operations, the same reading point can be used for shipment verification, data collection or downstream sorting.

It is most relevant to production lines handling multiple styles, sizes, batches or orders where barcode verification needs to become part of the continuous conveyor workflow rather than a separate manual scanning step.
