Description
PlySight™ is a defect impact spreading simulation tool within the OSHIMA Smart Factory Platform. It brings fabric inspection information together with the planned marker and spreading requirements, allowing production teams to review how known fabric defects may affect the lay before spreading and cutting begin.
The simulation provides a visual preview of fabric roll usage, ply coverage, splice positions, recorded defects and potentially affected cut pieces. Production teams can review the planned lay in advance and make adjustments where necessary.
PlySight™ works with fabric inspection data generated by the OSHIMA EagleAi® Smart Inspection System, extending inspection results beyond the inspection stage and into cutting-room planning.
