  • Warranty Policy

    Purpose

    The purpose of this document is to establish the product warranty and service policy for Taiwan OSHIMA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as OSHIMA), providing a basis for customers for repair or replacement. These procedures are designed to 1) minimize costs due to machine downtime, and 2) provide fast repair services to increase customer satisfaction.

    Definition

    End-to-End Factory: Products are guaranteed for 12 months after 30-60 days from the date of shipment.

    Warranty

    (i) During the warranty period, our products are entitled to a one-year warranty service if they malfunction in compliance with the original manufacturer's operating instructions and maintenance regulations. The conditions applicable to the warranty service include: proper operation of the machine in accordance with the manuals provided by the original manufacturer, regular maintenance, lubrication and cleaning as recommended by the original manufacturer, and replacement with genuine parts specified by the original manufacturer. Only if these recommended use and maintenance practices are strictly adhered to can you be assured that your equipment will be supported accordingly during the warranty period.

    (ii) In the event of a failure during the warranty period, OSHIMA reserves the right to use its professional judgment to determine whether the failure should be handled by replacing the machine or repairing some parts.

    (iii) OSHIMA does not accept any warranty cases, direct or indirect, and may refuse to pay for repairs in addition to the warranty liability, if the failure is caused by

    • Damage caused by service personnel other than those designated by OSHIMA.

    • Modification, repair or disassembly of the product without our authorization.

    • The use of parts or software not authorized by OSHIMA.

    • Failure of the operator to comply with the operation, use, handling, and maintenance guidelines in the manual and the specified parameters of the machine.

    • The model does not match the date of purchase or the certificate.

    • The buyer fails to report the failure immediately, or delays in performing the necessary repair procedures, resulting in a significant reduction or loss of repair opportunities.

    • The machine is damaged due to the influence of external factors or excessive force (including war, fire, flood, factory circuit influence, etc.).

    (iv) If any of the above non-warranty coverage, please do not send the repair, OSHIMA will not be responsible for the repair or return.

    Service Policy

    (i) Within the warranty period, the cost of shipping the product back to SHIMA is the responsibility of the customer, while the cost of shipping the product back to the customer is borne by OSHIMA.

    (ii) If the warranty period is exceeded, OSHIMA will provide paid repair services. The company's repair staff will first provide a quote and the customer will decide whether to repair the product before the repair process will be formalized. You will be responsible for the costs incurred in shipping the product back to OSHIMA, and you will also be responsible for the costs incurred in shipping the product back to the customer.

    NO-OBLIGATION POLICY

    OSHIMA does not provide service under circumstances other than previously mentioned in the warranty policy, nor carry any other implicit, explicit, or subsidiary obligation in the warranty policy. Please refer to, and only to, the warranty policy for OSHIMA service obligation. The warranty policy supersedes any other promise in oral or written form. The warranty policy does not cover any random, extraordinary, direct or indirect damage that comes with the manufactured product, even when OSHIMA has been notified of the possibility of such damages. All actions of repair, replacement, or refund by OSHIMA are in fulfillment of the promises indicated under the warranty policy.
